While training for a 10K run I suffered an Iliotibial band injury. I was on the threshold of achieving my target distance but as a result I couldn't run more than 2-3K without pain. With three weeks to go until my race, I had serious doubts I was going to be able to participate.
I went to see Madeleine as part of our regular massage visits and explained the issue. Aside from being a health professional she is also a runner, like myself, and she clearly understood the level of frustration of not being able to run.
She applied myofascial massage technique to the IT band, spending most of the 45 minutes on my legs. The next day I ran my first 10K - ever, pain free!
I made an appointment for the same treatment the day before my race. On race day I ran the 10K (my second one ever) taking over a minute off my time.

Our massage therapists are all fully trained and registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, which means you are receiving quality care and service that is reimbursable by your private health plan.
Massage Therapy Fees:

60 minutes = $85
75 minutes = $105
90 minutes = $130
