For over 12 years, Madeleine has been practicing massage therapy in such diverse settings as chiropractic clinics, physiotherapy clinics, a convent in Halifax and currently at CHEO and the Heart Institute. Madeleine is thrilled to be able to work alongside chiropractors once again, and looks forward to seeing you at Marketplace Family Chiropractic Centre.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand,Madeleine worked in Singapore in advertising. It was her mother's shoulder injury that started her interest in massage therapy, and two years later, she completed her diploma and became a registered massage therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Madeleine has always led a physically active lifestyle, notably with skiing,squash and running. When Madeleine is not helping people with massage therapy, she is exercising, gardening, cooking or taking care of her two sons.

Massage therapy techniques and style of treatment vary, and your condition will dictate the type of therapy best suited to your needs. Before your first massage, a health history will be taken to help determine the best treatment plan with you in mind.

Madeleine looks forward to working with you to help you gain back your ability to function optimally. Dayna Holtom, R.M.T.

Barrhaven Massage Therapy, Massage Therapist Barrhaven, Ottawa Chiropractor, Barrhaven Chiropractic, neck pain relief, registered massage therapy, stress relief, shoulder tension Dayna Holtom has been around Chiropractors since she was very young. In fact, she was just a few hours old when she had her first adjustment. So, it was only natural that she decided to study massage therapy at Algonquin College, where she graduated in 2010.

Born and raised in Dunrobin, a small town on the Ottawa River, Dayna has always loved outdoor activities, boating in the summer and ski-dooing in the winter. She also likes Hip-Hop and was a competitive dancer for several years. Dayna’s travels have taken her across Canada, throughout the British Isles, and as far away as Bali.

Since making Ottawa her permanent home, Dayna started her massage therapy career at a downtown day spa where she mastered the balance between relaxation and therapeutic massage. She also perfected the art and science of Hot Stone massage, a popular treatment using warm smooth lava rocks to work out tired and tense muscles. After seeing more than 600 clients in the spa environment, Dayna decided to return to her love of chiropractic care and witness the immediate benefits in conjunction with massage therapy. Dayna is very excited to work in a more clinical setting, and to broaden her experience working alongside Dr. Mike and Dr. Nancy.
