I Can Walk

I began chiropractic care during my pregnancy because at 26 weeks, out of the blue, I found myself unable to walk. I was having such severe pain in my sacroiliac joint (a common pregnancy complaint) that I was completely immobilized. My midwife suggested that I see a chiropractor. I did some research to find a chiropractor who was specifically trained to work on pregnant women, and thankfully I found Dr. Nancy.

Within a week or two I had noticed improvements and was up and walking, but still with pain. At about the one month mark of my treatment, I was feeling like my old self again. I could walk without pain, run up the stairs in my home, and take my dogs for walks with my husband. I felt such a sense of relief that I would not be wheelchair bound for the rest of my pregnancy. I could actually get back to enjoying this special time in my life.

Ear Infections- A Thing of the Past

My daughter was two when she got her first ear infection. After a course of antibiotics she felt better, but the ear infection soon returned. By the time my daughter turned four she had received multiple courses of antibiotics, suffered a ruptured ear drum, and had multiple ear surgeries to insert and replace ear tubes. A family member told me she had heard chiropractic could help. Desperate to help my daughter, I was willing to try anything.

After hearing about the training chiropractors receive and how gentle chiropractic is for kids, I felt at ease. I was amazed at how quickly my daughter responded to care. She was soon pain free and no longer suffered from ear infections or ear pain. Although nothing can repair the scar tissue she has on her ear drums, she is a much happier and healthier little girl. No More Migraines

I was 26 and for the past 2 years I had been suffering from almost daily migraines. These intense headaches interfered with almost every aspect of my life. My school suffered, my work suffered, and worst of all my relationships suffered. I tried almost every treatment around but nothing kept my migraines from coming back.

I found out about chiropractic through a friend and decided I should give it a try. To my amazement my migraines stopped immediately. I continued with regular care and soon realized that chiropractic can help much more than just migraines. My whole body began to feel better; I began to have less menstrual cramps, less digestive problems, and fewer colds. Thanks to chiropractic I've been able to get my life back. Thank you!

Back in Control

I was 53 years old when I started chiropractic care. I had severe low back pain and at times wouldn't be able to stand up. I had trouble working, doing things around the house, well doing anything really. When I started getting care I noticed that I wouldn't have the same degree of pain and I didn't have the severe episodes anywhere near as often.

I stopped with my care and found that I started to have problems again. Now I get checked regularly, and I've found that I really do feel like I am in control of my life. I'm back to my old self again.

Back on Track

I began chiropractic care after I had a long day at the park, running and jumping with my kids and I could not walk the next day.  I came to see Dr. Mike and started treatment right away. It has been over 4 months and I feel great! Now, my wife and son have started care, and soon my baby girl will, too, because I can see the benefits of chiropractic care.

Feeling Great

I began chiropractic care after having knee, shoulder, and neck injuries that were not resolved after a long period of time with physiotherapy treatments. My wife urged me to try chiropractic to see if I would have any changes. She was right (again!).

After a few months of care, my knee pain had disappeared and my shoulder and neck range of motion was improving. I feel better than I have felt in a long time and I know if I continue with chiropractic care, I will continue to feel great. Marketplace Family Chiropractic Centre is great, the staff and atmosphere are wonderful, and after a long day at work it is always nice to come here and see all of the smiling faces of the staff and patients.
