Chiropractic Fees and Services

Initial Visit and Report of Findings

Your initial visit will include filling out a confidential health history. The doctor will review your health history with you and will perform a preliminary exam (up to this point there is no charge). If the doctor feels you are a candidate for chiropractic care a comprehensive physical exam will be performed; including postural, neurological, orthopedic, and chiropractic exams. Your doctor will review all the findings from your initial visit, discussing these findings with you at your report of findings, and give you recommendations for care.

Marketplace Family Chiropractic Centre has brand new state of the art X-ray technology on site and X-rays will only be taken if the doctor feels they are required.

Office Visits (Adjustments)

On each regular office visit, your doctor will check your spine for subluxations and adjust any areas necessary.

Nutritional Consulting

Marketplace Family Chiropractic Centre has an on site Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner (RNCP) available for one on one nutritional consults. Based on the principles of Functional Medicine, our nutritionist will help you to set and achieve realistic health goals. Functional Medicine is a science based field of health care that addresses underlying biochemical, physiological, environmental and psychological factors to achieve or enhance health and vitality.

Nutritional Health Assessment

This comprehensive nutritional assessment helps to determine your current nutritional status and needs. Recommendations will be given on diet and lifestyle changes to improve your health. A nutritional health assessment includes an Integrated Assessment (consisting of a bioimpedance analysis, zinc tally, and health questionnaires) and Report of Findings, (2 separate visits).

Custom Orthotics

Prescription orthotics are like insoles, but are custom made to correct your foot imbalance. By restoring the normal function and alignment of your feet, custom orthotics help reduce stress and strain on your body.

The doctor will perform a consultation and exam to evaluate your need for custom orthotics. If the doctor feels you would benefit, onsite casting will allow for an exact replica of your foot. The cast will be shipped off and your custom orthotics will be ready for fitting in a few weeks.

At Marketplace Family Chiropractic Centre, we believe that the better informed you are, the better you will be at making health choices for you and your family. That's why we have a lending library providing information on everything from meditation to parenting. We also offer a variety of workshops on topics such as nutrition, stress management, pregnancy care, and child development to name a few.

For your convenience, we offer a variety of payment options. Our clinic accepts Visa, MasterCard, Direct Debit, and cash.

There are a variety of insurance companies who provide benefits covering all or part of chiropractic care, nutritional consulting, massage therapy, and/or custom orthotics (i.e., Great West Life, Sun Life, PSHCP). Our office will provide you with receipts that may be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. We ask that your account is kept current at all times.
